Silence Before The Storm

It's been a while since I posted. I've been busy, and a lot of things have happened. Some things I'm not at all at liberty to discuss (due to pending legal action), and others that I only have time to touch on.
I will say that the past three weeks have been the worst in my life. I lost twenty pounds in two weeks, and did not do anything to deserve what has happened. I didn't do anything wrong at all, and yet I am paying the price. This has nothing to do with Tampa indie film, either, at least not directly- well, maybe it does.
At least I've had several models and actors there to encourage me. They are wonderful, talented professionals with a lot of great advice. My friends continue to inspire, and impress me. Is it any wonder that some of my best friends are the top talent in the entertainment industry?
As an actress told me, the winds of change are in the air. I may not be updating web sites much or posting anything new on my blogs in the coming weeks, but I will be hard at work repairing damage, addressing some issues, and finally starting down the road to getting things done.
It's do or bust.
Erm.... Updates. The Tampa Film Showcase is on hold. I will be producing my Tampa indie film festival series when I can. For now, I have more important things to focus on.
Ok, my film projects. It doesn't really matter if I do them next year or the next. I doubt any of the morons in the Tampa indie film clique will be able to do anything comparable anytime soon, and I have some really cool things in the works that they don't know about because I am smart enough not to post about them online. I have no desire to help these unprofessionals, and already am aware of their history of stealing things from the real professionals who really have talent. For now, I sit back and remain amused at their thinly guised online cracks at me. They think that they are witty, and have me figured out. They do not have a clue. Despite what they believe, I really don't have anything against them, although their behavior prompts me to not take them seriously. They will learn, and I won't have to do a thing to teach them.
Oh, and to the blogger who is cybersquatting on my name- very funny. I am aware of this, as is my attorney. Use that domain name wisely, because we are watching it. I suppose that these people are mad at me about something. Could it be because I have a backbone, do not kiss their ass, and don't play politics? Sorry. I am not accustomed to negotiating from a position of weakness. I deal from a position of strength. What may not be so obvious now will become very apparent in the future.
Oh, yes, and I went to Danford's film festival back in early June. I was there with my friend Ann Poonkasem, and we had a lot of fun. Which reminds me- I need to mail him some pictures of those last two Tampa film festivals.
I have to run. Time to make some phone calls and park some web sites. Also, the new Tampa Online Film Festival of Tampa Bay Film is also on hold. I may not have time to work on it for at least a month or two.
