Current, Upcoming, and INCOMING In Tampa Film!

I'm very busy. I have a team of people helping, too.
I'll be working with my Tampa Bay Film team of talent and production professionals all this weekend to do some much needed work on the Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival. Although the new second-generation online film festival site launched last month, there were parts of it that were placed on standby mode and/ or were rushed. I hate rushed, half-ass efforts- I hate compromises made just to make a deadline.
I like details. I like awesome results from lots of hard, productive, constructive work. So, we're doing it right. We are getting it right, to my specifications.
This said, the new Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival has already matched the success of the old one. The new SEO technology and techniques infused within the entire site, which were 100% completed upon launch, are working better than planned. The site already has superb search engine performance, which is sure to humble the competition, as well as keep them pinned down on the drawing boards.
The Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival, as of tomorrow morning, will have a new film menu interface (each film will have a screen-capture image button in addition to the text link) and some other new features. We will be adding 14 more films, too.
I'm working on other things, too. Here is a sneak-preview list of what I have in the can (most of them for Tampa Bay Film).

1. The Unauthorized Review of the Tampa Film Review for 2008!
2. The Tampa Film Review Survivors Guide (plus things to do there when you are bored)
3. The Quiet Place Exposé - The Story Of "The Great Collaboration Of 2006"!
4. Improvements to the Tampa Bay Film Tampa Film Festival Database.
5. A Review Of The Small Film Festival That Did It All - 2007's Horror and Hotties!
6. A parody of the Tampa Film Review about a near-future scenario for the struggling film festival.
7. A review of the Tampa indie film "99" (plus concessions that we had to do just to convince ourselves to watch it again).
8. A review of the Tampa indie film "100 Tears" (what's up with the sequential numbers in these movie titles?).
9. An objective, unbiased review (I have to state this because I own it) of the Tampa Bay Film Online Film Festival.

Well, that's a partial list of what I am working on. In closing, I would like to take a moment to make some statements regarding my outspoken ways and the unprofessional ways that people in the Tampa indie film clique are reacting to the truth. I will do so in a Q & A format.

Q1. You piss a lot of people off in the Tampa film community with your outrageous claims. Are you concerned that this will hurt you career?
A1. Not at all. First of all, there is no Tampa film community. There is a Tampa film scene, which has been hijacked by a Tampa indie film clique, a clique of a small group of neurotic people who masquerade as a Tampa indie film community. These people are not doing much to improve the state of Tampa indie film, and there is a lot of untrustworthy, insecure behavior, and a lot of backstabbing going on. There is also a lot of pretension. This is hardly professional at all.
I have also been threatened by some of these people with threats of violence against me. This hardly helps their professional credibility, as they cannot compete with what I have to offer or win any debates with me. They have to resort to making threats because this is the only way that they feel that they can win. In regards to them hurting my career, that is laughable. Real professionals are going to consider the source, as well as check out facts. I want these people to talk about me. When others find out that I am the real deal, I have more to offer than all of them combined, and that I don't do anything wrong, then that should prove to have an interesting effect on the credibility of my detractors.
Ah, and to those who have threatened me with violence: Am I really worth going to jail over and the financial pitfalls? I guarantee that I will write about any attack against me until the end of time, which will do wonders for your so-called "career". What a bunch of unprofessional, no- talent bullies and thugs.
As one prominent actress once told me, they are jokes.

Q2. Still, you make some crazy, outrageous claims. Do you really have ideas and concepts that will revolutionize indie film?
A2. Yes, I do. I wouldn't make those claims if I was not able to back them up.

Q3. Care to elaborate?
A3. Not at this time. I can only say to those who have doubts to wait and see. Those who have been negative about me, and what I do, are useless to me, anyway. They have nothing to offer. Those that are useful to me, and those who could potentially back me, are much more positive about things. The real professionals are not quite so insecure, and are much less of a risk to plagiarize ideas. I also have an excellent track record of selling to qualified parties.
Working with people and collaborating with them is a two-way street. So are interviews with prospects. They look at me, and I look at them. If we feel that each other is qualified, then we talk. If the talks work out, we work together. Everyone benefits.

Q4. Sounds like you are not impressed by those who you describe as being part of the Tampa indie film clique.
A4. Not at all. There are a few competent filmmakers in that group, but that is the exception rather than the rule, and the films that they have made are derivative at best. I don't see a single one of them making it as full time filmmakers or gaining the attention of the entertainment industry. They must realize this, too, because they front a lot and are very insecure. They embellish what they do and exaggerate their importance.
If they don't think that you are competition, they will humor you. If they see you as competition and as a professional threat to their career, they will try to set you up to fail. If that doesn't work, they will slander you and try to undermine your credibility by bad-mouthing you and by ganging up on you.
I especially like the fake goodwill and the guise of "helping the Tampa film community". What better way to size up potential competitors and sabotage them? As one model once told me, "keep your friends close and your enemies closer". In this case, I saw through their B.S. and had the courage to stand up to them. They tried their shady tactics against me, and I fought back. They can't beat me, and that keeps them pissed off. They finally met a true professional who outmatched them, and what they have done, and what they continue to do, keeps backfiring.

Q5. Some say that you are arrogant. Care to elaborate?
Q5. Who cares what those people think! I consider the source when it comes to opinions, especially when those opinions are not rooted in fact. Arrogance is defined as "unwarranted pride". I have talent, years of experience, a great track record of successes, training, and a professional level of skill in what I do. I don't take shortcuts, pay attention to detail, and take pride in everything that I do. I am qualified to do what I do and to evaluate what other do. My pride is warranted, so the term of arrogance does not apply. They don't have the high standards that I do. They lie, cheat, and steal, doing anything that they can, often at the expense of others, to make it. If you ask me, those who pretend to be professionals when they don't have the qualifications, and their actions undermine their claims, are the arrogant ones.

Q6. Is there anyone is the Tampa film scene who impress you?
A6. There are some who impress me with their potential. There are some who impress me with what they have done. There are some who have earned my respect as a professional. There are a few who have done all of the above.
Who are the Tampa film professionals to watch? Who do I think are the future of Tampa indie film? I'll tell you. Chris Woods. Andy Lalino. Rick Danford. Shelby. Oh, and myself. There may be more out there, and I'll be sure to make a point to meet them soon.
